Blah...

It's been a while since my last post and if anyone was actually looking forward to this string of nonsensical wonderment then I apologize. Well between now and my last post I have auditioned and achieved the role of playing John the Baptist/ Judas Iscariot in the musical Godspell for The River of Life Theatre. I have also been enraptured by an individual, indizzle I am dating someone, and so far it's going swimmingly. I just hate when people (mainly 'elders') put this sort of age limit on love. Phrases like 'you're too young to know' only plague and inhibit it. I thought love was endless, thought it knew no bounds. That loving someone was the most constructive, healing, happy, beautiful force in the universe. But then magically you have to be a certain age to experience it, I am going to call bullshit on that one. Just a thought...just a thought. Regardless I am sending my LOVE out to you all.

Until we next meet (and with my inconsistency who knows when that will be),

Seasonal Ramblings

Christmas is just around the bend, and there is no snow on the ground. It's unnerving when a seasonal attitude is changed by the result of its lacking precipitation. This fact has left me feeling less and less Christmas-y, and it's saddening because winter is my absolute favorite season. The zealous haunting carols, the warm feeling you get when you gaze out the window and find everything so peaceful and dead, the family huddled around the counter top dipping pretzels in chocolate, and cookie making, and toffee brewing. The beautiful church services and the appreciation and worship of Jesus, no matter what your religious affiliation there is an incontrovertible spiritual aspect to the winter season, and that is what makes winter for me. I would urge all to have a wonderful time with your families and friends this holiday season and pray that this beautiful time of the year is everything you hoped it would be.

Until next time. SDG
